Sunshine Scherer serves as the Environmental Manager at GOJO, where she is responsible for designing and implementing strategy of shared responsibility for environmental programs and compliance in support of a sustainable organization. Since joining GOJO in 2006, Sunshine created, implemented and maintains an ISO 14000- aligned Environmental Management System (EMS) for GOJO. She also led the Water Reduction Team from 2010-2014, whose achievements resulted in a 40% water reduction.
Sunshine received the E4S (Entrepreneurs for Sustainability) Champion of Sustainability award in 2011. The work that she and the GOJO EMS team did resulted in GOJO receiving the Ohio EPA Encouraging Environmental Excellence (E3) Program Bronze Level in 2012 and Silver Level for activities completed in 2013.
