Tamara has held various positions since starting at GOJO in 2005, including roles within Product Management and the Healthcare and Manufacturing markets. In her current role as Product Management Director for the SMARTLINK product portfolio, she leads the product development and marketing efforts for hand hygiene monitoring solutions and related service products of the Internet of Things for the organization. Tamara holds a B.S. from Kent State University. In addition to raising her three children, Tamara enjoys running half marathons.

Healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) remain a patient safety concern, and there is a significant body of evidence that demonstrates a correlation between hand hygiene rates and infection rates; as hand hygiene goes up, infection rates go down. This is why the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization consistently state that hand hygiene is considered the single most important means of reducing and preventing the spread of infection in healthcare settings.
