Mara Swan

Mara Swan is an accomplished and versatile executive with over two decades of broad leadership experience at the C-suite level within the services and consumer packaged goods industries. She has deep expertise with strategy development and execution, CEO and board room issues, culture and workforce strategy, executive succession planning, corporate messaging and communications, executive recruitment, and compensation, ESG, D, E&I and matters of enterprise risk and controls, as well as P&L management.

Mara retired from ManpowerGroup, a $20B global workforce solutions company in 2020. Swan was the EVP, Global Strategy and Talent and had responsibility for Strategy, HR, Marketing, PR & Communications, ESG, Thought Leadership, Risk Management, and the Right Management brand. Prior to ManpowerGroup, Mara was SVP, Global HR at MolsonCoors Brewing Company. Since October 2020, Mara serves as President of Xceleration, LLC and advises on human capital strategy, talent, D, E&I, compensation, workforce productivity and performance issues. In May 2021, Mara joined Stonepeak as a Senior Operating Partner focused on talent.

Mara has been on the board of GOJO Industries, a manufacturer of PURELL and other hand hygiene products, since 2011, and has served as the Chair of the People & Culture Committee during that time. She has also served on the boards of BrightView Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: BV) a $2.5 billion commercial landscaping company; ULINE, North America’s largest distributor of shipping and business supplies; TRAC Intermodal; and Bader-Rutter, a B2B advertising agency.
