Elizabeth De Nardo, Ph.D.
Skin Care Science and Technology Senior Scientist I
Dr. De Nardo holds a Ph.D. in Virology and Microbiology from the University of Campinas, Sao Paulo in Brazil. She joined GOJO in 2008 as a senior scientist in hand hygiene-related subjects, serving as a technical liaison interfacing with numerous internal and external key customers. In addition, she has led efforts on virus projects in collaboration with U.S. institutions and universities.
Prior to GOJO, she held a post-doctorate position at The Ohio State University’s Agricultural Research and Development Center, conducting research on microorganisms for biological control programs.
She has published several research articles in her area of expertise.

On September 30, 2014, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Texas Health Department confirmed the first case of Ebola in the United States. While the thought of this virus, which has claimed more than 3,000 lives in West Africa according to World Health Organization (WHO), is alarming, Dr. Tom Frieden, M.D., M.P.H, Director of the CDC, is confident that the strength of the United States healthcare system will help in preventing the virus threatening our communities.
