Kathleen Leigh is the Marketing Director, PURELL® Consumer Business, for GOJO Industries, Inc. She leads strategic direction for the consumer marketplace including new product and claims innovation, engagement marketing, and retail execution.

Her experience includes:

  • launching a line-wide upgrade of scientifically advanced hand sanitizer products (PURELL® Advanced)
  • creating compelling integrated marketing communications (including TV, radio, print and social media)
  • developing unique PURELL experiential solutions for the Academy Awards™, the Bridgestone Invitational Golf Tournament and Teen audiences.

Prior to her current role, Ms. Leigh was the Global Brand Director and Senior Brand Manager for PURELL® Instant Hand Sanitizer, where she mapped and executed global long-term strategies for science-based antimicrobial solutions. In these roles she launched superior innovation under the PURELL brand including:

  • PURELL® Advanced in the global healthcare market
  • the World’s First EcoLogo™ green-certified instant hand sanitizer
  • new point-of-care healthcare delivery devices

Ms. Leigh received a Bachelor of Arts from Wittenberg University, Springfield, Ohio and a Masters in Management from Ursuline College, Pepper Pike, Ohio. She has a green belt in Innovation Engineering ™ new product development – a system co-sponsored by the Department of Commerce, the University of Maine and the Eureka! Ranch. She is a frequent guest lecturer at Duke University on healthcare marketing and has presented multiple times with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on matters of preventive public health.

Ms. Leigh spent one year traveling around the world by bicycle, riding more than 15,000 miles through over 40 countries as part of Odyssey 2000™. She is an American Red Cross Board Member, a Deacon in her church, completed a Half Ironman triathlon event, and enjoys acrylic painting, poetry, and activities with her family.
