Kristina Beaugh, MPH
Food Safety Education Staff, Office of Public Affairs and Consumer Education, USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS)
Kristina Beaugh is a Public Affairs Specialist for the Food Safety Education Staff at USDA FSIS where she manages several aspects of food safety education for consumers. Kristina currently manages the FSIS social media efforts with content development and analysis. She also manages partnerships with organizations that reach older adults, cancer patients, and people with diabetes—populations that are at high-risk for foodborne illness. Additionally, Kristina writes seasonal communications plans for food safety outreach.
Kristina is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, and loves her two cats, cooking Cajun food, and reading autobiographies. She graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. After college, Kristina moved to Texas where she received her Master of Public Health in Health Promotion/Community Health Sciences from Texas A&M University.
