The Federal Aviation Administration said it is expecting Memorial Day weekend to be the busiest since 2010, a sign of a jam-packed travel season all summer long.
According to FAA, 53,515 flights are scheduled the Thursday before Memorial Day and 50,129 on Friday. Right now the busiest summer travel day is predicted to be June 30 with 53,785 flights.
Of course, increased crowd sizes mean two things:
- More opportunities to wow travelers and alleviate stress.
- More potential for germs.
The PURELL brand can help on both these fronts.
Create Positive Impressions
For airports and airlines, there’s a unique opportunity to piggy-back off the PURELL brand’s long history of high-quality products to amplify guest experience.
The numbers speak for themselves: 95% of travelers would describe an airport that provides PURELL® products as safe, and 70% said they would have a more positive impression of an airport that provides PURELL® Hand Sanitizer.
Including PURELL Surface Wipes in your line-up of products can also help, by empowering travelers with wipes that kill 99.9% of viruses and bacteria for high-touchpoint areas and luggage.
Plus, the PURELL brand makes it easier on maintenance teams, too. Our new PURELL ES10 touch-free dispensers include a battery on every refill so you never need to change batteries. And the unique refill design makes it possible to check product levels with just a glance.
Easing the burden on maintenance teams helps ensure hand sanitizer and soap are always ready, which in turn can help reduce complaints.
Effective and Hydrating
The second point should be obvious. PURELL Advanced Hand Sanitizer foam kills 99.99% of germs that may cause illness.
But did you know it also is significantly more hydrating with frequent use in comparison to a competitive brand foam hand sanitizer? No wonder PURELL® Hand Sanitizer is the most trusted brand offered in public places.1
At an airport that doesn’t provide PURELL products? Bummer, but we still have you covered. There are a variety of 2 oz PURELL hand sanitizers that fall within the Transportation Security Administration’s allowable liquid limit for carry-on bags – including our new PURELL Hand Sanitizer Spray.
